Description Our client in Västerås is looking for a junior Platform Software Engineer for a role within the Functional Safety team. The role involves ensuring system quality through functional safety testing and contributing to continuous improvements in the project. As a Platform Software Engineer, you will work closely with the team and be involved in both daily testing activities and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing functional safety tests, documenting results, and writing clear bug reports. You will communicate and coordinate work within the team and drive improvements in processes and working methods within the project.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in testing techniques and functional safety

• Knowledge of C# (level can be discussed)

• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written

• Swedish is highly meritorious

• Structured and methodical with high accuracy

• Quality-conscious, self-driven, and initiative-taking team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in test automation or system testing

• Experience from safety-critical systems

Conditions The work is full-time and takes place on-site with our client in Västerås. The assignment runs from April 20, 2026, to April 19, 2027.
